Are you ready to flow over the beaches to celebrate once again the biggest surf event on the planet? Good news: International Surfing Day (ISD) is coming very soon! This year the 10th edition of the ISD will be celebrated on Sunday June 23rd, 2013!

In 2012, there were 202 events organized in 33 countries in order to celebrate this big day. So now we invite each and everyone again for ISD 2013 to discover and enjoy surfing for free and break the participant record of last year.

For the ones who want to organize an event to celebrate this big day, registrations are now open online! For the rest who wants to solely enjoy the day, nothing simpler; find an event happening around you and join in for a day full of beach activities.

Another record broken for International Surfing Day: 202 events organized in 33 countries for this 9th edition, compared to 198 events in 2011! In other words thousands of surf enthusiasts, beginners and experts, were able to enjoy activities for free all across the planet on Sunday, June 24th, 2012.

A day full of excitment and energy that would not have been nearly as successful without the entire international surf community (clubs, shops, schools, federations, riders, associations...) rallying together.

EuroSIMA, European Surfing Federation, Surfrider Foundation Europe and Surfers Against Sewage would like to thank all the partners and event organizers for the hard work, time and energy they once again dedicated to this day.

This year, as with other years, the major players in surfing from all over the world have come together. As of now there are 200 events in 33 countries, hundreds of free activities open to everyone and anyone in order to make Sunday, June 24th, an exceptional day full of awesome surprises!
